Yes! Our classes are open to all skill levels. The difficulty level of the class is in your hands. We celebrate that our bodies feel different every day. Our goal is for you to leave the studio feeling better than you entered!
Once you reserve your spot, we ask that you arrive at the studio 15 minutes before the start of class. Please let the front desk know it is your first time, that way we can give you a tour of the studio and ensure you have everything you need for class. For cycling classes, a member of our team will assist you in setting up your bike, ensuring you are confident before the start of the class – we do require cycling shoes (our bikes are SPD compatible) – don’t have them? No worries, we have some you can rent for $4! Each of our studios offers a filtered water cooler, so be sure to bring a water bottle!
We require each rider to wear cycling shoes. You can bring your own or rent shoes when you arrive for $4. Our bikes are compatible with SPD cleats.
All equipment for our movement classes is provided – including towel + mat. Please wear sneakers (only our Yoga classes are barefoot), arrive hydrated, and bring a water bottle! We also ask that you do not wear the sneakers you’re going to take class in until you are in the studio space.
We offer state-of-the-art infrared heaters at our movement studio using infrared technology utilizing radiant energy to heat the body directly. Our heated classes are maintained between 85 + 95 degrees Fahrenheit; intentionally designed to gently + safely raise core temperature to enhance movement, improve flexibility, accelerate warm up + provide faster recovery.
Please bring a water bottle – we have purified water coolers at all of our studios.
We recommend that you wear something comfortable and something that you’re not afraid to sweat in! We suggest form-fitting pants or shorts. For cycling classes, you will need to wear SPD-compatible cycling shoes (we rent them for $4). For movement classes, you are required to wear sneakers, with the exception of our yoga classes.
We have one bathroom with a changing area and complimentary toiletries for pre- and post-workout use. We do not have showers.
We do not have lockers, but we do have spacious cubbies in the studio. In the movement studio, if you bring something you would not like in the heat, you are more than welcome to leave it at the front desk.
Yes – we need to know who is moving with us! You’ll need to create an account with us. We recommend making a reservation if you plan to attend a class. We welcome walk-ins, but please note that classes often fill up. You can make a reservation online up to 14 days in advance. We do not accept unpaid reservations over the phone or in person. You must have a valid credit in your account in order to reserve a spot.
Yes, you can cancel your reserved spot up to 12 hours before the start of class. Your canceled credit will be returned to your package. In the event you cancel within our 12-hour “late cancel” window, you will either lose the credit or be charged $10 for our unlimited subscribers. See our cancellation policy on our pricing page.
No. We do offer extensions and account credits for extenuating circumstances. Please email ridetandem@tandem-cycle.com for more information.
For new clients, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start of class. All clients must arrive at least THREE MINUTES before the start of class to hold their reserved spot. We open our classes to waitlisted clients three minutes before class start time. If you are running late, no problem! Just give us a call at the studio, and we will hold your spot!
